Become a country editor
Our system finds strikes. People make sure they are right. Country editors check the strikes for one or more countries — about 10 to 15 minutes a day.
What you do
Every morning you get a short email with what needs a look: new strikes to verify, running strikes to confirm, and a quick check of your usual news sources. If we missed a strike, you add it. If nothing is new, you say so — that is useful information too.
Who fits
You read the news of your country in its own language. You already follow trade union news, transport news or labour topics — as a journalist, union member, researcher, commuter or simply out of interest. No technical skills needed.
What you get
Your own editor desk, a public editor profile with your name on the strikes you verified, and a direct line to the team. Editors start as volunteers. With editors who stay active over time, we talk about a monthly payment.
How it works
Nothing you send goes live on its own. Every change is checked by an admin before it is published, so you can never break anything. Read more on our AI transparency page.
Countries that need an editor most
Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, United States and Canada. Italy, Spain, France and the UK are welcome too — a country can have more than one editor.
