France: easyJet France pilots strike on 1–2 October 2026 (postponed twice, from 13–14 and 24–25 September)

Pilots at easyJet France are called to strike on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 October 2026 by the pilots' union SNPL. The notice has been postponed twice: first set for 13–14 September, it was moved to 24–25 September when easyJet agreed to resume talks, then on 19 September pushed back again to 1–2 October to give the negotiations another chance. There is no strike on 24 and 25 September.

What to expect

• If the strike goes ahead, flights to and from easyJet's French bases — Paris-Orly, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Lyon, Nice, Nantes, Bordeaux and Toulouse — are likely to be cancelled or rescheduled on both days.
• easyJet does not publish a public cancellation list; affected passengers are told directly by email, text or the app, usually a few days before. Check your flight status before travelling.
• The union says it will withdraw the notice if easyJet makes firm, lasting commitments; it describes the talks as progressing constructively, with several points still to be settled.

Why

The dispute is about chronic roster instability: pilots report schedules being changed several times a week, sometimes up to ten times for a single day before departure. After cabin crew struck on 15–16 August (98 cancellations), easyJet granted them five "untouchable" days per month and compensation for changes of more than two hours. SNPL is asking for the same protections for pilots.
