Paris: CGT-RATP unlimited strike on metro, RER and buses from 28 September 2026 (19:00)

CGT-RATP, the largest union at Paris's public transport operator, has filed an unlimited strike notice covering all RATP staff from Monday 28 September 2026 at 19:00 — metro, the RATP-operated sections of RER A and B, buses and trams. The union wants management to reopen pay negotiations now rather than at the 2027 annual round, a €600 fuel allowance, higher premiums for night and irregular hours and general wage increases; a formal "social alarm" procedure ended in disagreement on 21 September.
