Germany: ver.di calls one-day warning strike at Sana Hospital Templin on 13 May 2026

ver.di called all salaried employees of Sana Klinikum Templin (Brandenburg) to a 24-hour warning strike beginning at 05:15 on Wednesday 13 May 2026 — the first strike in the hospital's history. The action is timed for the third round of negotiations on 21 May. Templin staff are demanding their pay tables be raised to match the rest of the Sana group: Sana hospitals in Sommerfeld and Berlin-Lichtenberg currently pay 14 percentage points more for the same work, and ver.di warns the gap would reach 17.5% by February 2028 without an agreement. A rally is scheduled for 09:00 at Robert-Koch-Straße 24.
