Bergamo: Arriva Italia bus strike on Friday 16 October 2026 (24 hours)

FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL, UILT-UIL and FAISA-CISAL, together with the works council, have called a 24-hour strike at Arriva Italia's Bergamo production unit on Friday 16 October 2026, filed with the transport ministry on 24 September.

What to expect: Arriva runs the provincial and interurban bus network around Bergamo and some urban routes on behalf of ATB, so buses across the province stop outside the guaranteed bands, which Arriva publishes a few days before the strike (normally the early-morning and late-afternoon peaks). Bergamo's city buses and the tram run by ATB/TEB are not part of this notice unless stated by the operator.

The unions have not yet published the reasons for the call; the notice is a company-level dispute, not part of a national action.
