Genoa: AMT bus, metro and funicular strike on Monday 9 November 2026 (11:30–15:30, CUB Trasporti)

The grassroots union CUB Trasporti has called a four-hour strike of AMT Genova staff on Monday 9 November 2026, from 11:30 to 15:30. The strike was proclaimed on 28 October and entered in the transport ministry's strike register the same day.

What to expect: Genoa's buses, the metro and the lifts and funiculars run by AMT may be cancelled or reduced between 11:30 and 15:30; service before and after the strike window runs normally, allowing for the time vehicles need to return to their routes. AMT publishes the arrangements on its website before each strike. Check before travelling.
