Norway: possible SAS Link cabin crew strike from 11 October 2026 (mediation 9–10 October)

Cabin crew of SAS Link, the regional subsidiary of SAS, could strike from Sunday 11 October 2026 if compulsory mediation between Fellesforbundet and the employers' association NHO Luftfart fails. Talks on the SAS Link agreement broke down on 10 September; the union wants pay in line with SAS's own cabin crew, better pensions and firmer rest rules. The National Mediator has scheduled mediation from Friday 9 October at 10:00 until midnight on Saturday 10 October.

What to expect: the strike notice initially covers 24 crew members, so the impact would be limited to some SAS Link-operated flights from Norway — typically domestic and short European routes flown by SAS Link's Embraer aircraft — rather than the SAS network as a whole. SAS would inform affected passengers directly. If the mediation succeeds, the strike is off.
