BMA staff to strike on 30 April and 2 May over pay dispute
Last Updated:
More than 400 employees of the British Medical Association, represented by GMB, will walk out on 30 April and 2 May after rejecting a 2.75% pay offer they say fails to address years of pay erosion. The action is timed to coincide with BMA conferences and follows earlier April stoppages that disrupted union events.
This alert was originally created on 22 April 2026.
