Unifor

Formed in 2013 through the merger of the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) and the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers (CEP), Unifor is the largest private-sector union in Canada. It represents workers across manufacturing, energy, media, and transport-related industries. In transport, Unifor organises airport workers, aviation staff, rail employees, and logistics workers at several major employers. It is active in collective bargaining and industrial policy advocacy, including campaigns focused on domestic production and employment.
