LO
Landsorganisasjonen i Norge
Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions
Founded in 1899, LO is the largest confederation within Norway's Nordic model of industrial relations. It brings together a wide range of affiliated unions across manufacturing, transport, construction, and the public sector. LO plays a central role in coordinated wage formation, including the front-fag framework, in cooperation with employers and other confederations. It has a long-standing historical relationship with the Norwegian Labour Party, while operating as an independent bargaining actor.
