Workers represented by ver.di and the civil servantsβ union (dbb) are striking at Autobahn GmbHβs Elbtunnel operations/control center in Hamburg. During the strike windows, one lane per direction is closed, reducing capacity to two lanes each way. The action extends into February 24 (until around 06:00) following the end of a separate full closure for works at 05:00 on February 23; overnight heavy transports via the A1 NorderelbbrΓΌcke could not be routed during the strike.

During the strike windows, one lane per direction is closed (traffic reduced to two lanes each way). This coincides with a separate planned full closure of the A7/Elbtunnel from Feb 20, 22:00 to Feb 23, 05:00 for works, but the strike-driven lane closures apply before and after those times.
