Hannover region: regiobus sprintH express bus strike on 15 September 2026 (05:00–09:30)

ver.di has called a warning strike at regiobus Hannover on Tuesday 15 September 2026, from 05:00 to about 09:30. The stoppage is limited to the sprintH express bus lines 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 900, which link Hannover with the surrounding towns of the region; these lines will not run during the strike and are expected to be back to normal roughly an hour and a half after it ends, by about 11:00.

ÜSTRA services are not affected: trams, city buses and the ÜSTRA-operated sprintH line 800 run as usual. Other regiobus lines are not on strike, though short-notice gaps are possible if individual drivers join the action. Regiobus says school transport should see only minor disruption. Current timetables are published on uestra.de and in the ÜSTRA app on the day.

The union has not published its demands for this warning strike. Further short stoppages are possible while negotiations continue.
