Hannover region: regiobus warning strike on Friday 25 September 2026 (ver.di, all day)

ver.di has called a full-day warning strike at regiobus Hannover on Friday 25 September 2026, from the start of service at about 03:00 until the end of the day. It is the second stoppage in the dispute over the railway sector agreement (Eisenbahntarifvertrag), which expired at the end of August; a first short strike on 15 September brought no offer from the employers.

What to expect: the sprintH lines 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 900 and most regional buses in the Hannover region will not run; routes operated by subcontractors continue. The Stadtbahn runs normally, but a solidarity stoppage at ÜSTRA's Vahrenwald depot disrupts several ÜSTRA bus lines (100/200, 120, 121, 125, 126/136, 127, 128, 134, 135, 137, 581, 800).
