Abruzzo: TUA regional bus strike on 18 September 2026 (09:00–13:00)

Staff of TUA (Trasporto Unico Abruzzese), the regional public transport company of Abruzzo, are scheduled to strike for four hours on Friday 18 September 2026, from 09:00 to 13:00, in an action called by UGL Autoferrotranvieri and ORSA Trasporti.

TUA runs urban buses in Pescara, L'Aquila, Chieti and Teramo, the regional and inter-city bus network across Abruzzo, and the Sangritana regional rail service between Pescara and Lanciano. Buses and Sangritana trains may be cancelled during the strike window; services before 09:00 and after 13:00 run normally, so the morning and afternoon commuter peaks are protected. Trenitalia regional trains are not part of this strike.
