Alghero: SOGEAAL airport workers' strike on 13 September 2026 (24 hours)

Staff of SOGEAAL, the company that runs Alghero–Riviera del Corallo Airport in north-west Sardinia, are on a 24-hour strike on Sunday 13 September 2026, from 00:00 to 23:59, called by UGL Trasporto Aereo.

The airport operator warns that ground services supporting arriving and departing flights — check-in, boarding, baggage and ramp handling — may run late throughout the day, and advises passengers to arrive earlier than usual. Flights in the protected time bands (07:00–10:00 and 18:00–21:00) operate normally, and airlines will contact passengers directly if a flight is cancelled.

The strike is limited to Alghero: it is one of three actions the same union called at Sardinian airports for this period, of which the Olbia strike has been withdrawn and the Cagliari one runs 13:00–17:00 on the same day.
