Cagliari: SOGAER security and operations staff strike on 13 September 2026 (13:00–17:00)

Workers at SOGAER, SOGAER Security and SOGAERDYN — the companies running operations, security screening and ground services at Cagliari-Elmas Airport — are scheduled to strike for four hours on Sunday 13 September 2026, from 13:00 to 17:00, in an action called by UGL T.A.

The strike was originally proclaimed for 11 September and moved to 13 September after the union withdrew the first date. A separate stoppage by FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL and Uiltrasporti planned for the same day (11:00–15:00) has been revoked, so the 13:00–17:00 UGL action is the only strike at the airport on 13 September.

Security queues, check-in and boarding may be slower in the strike window. Flights in the protected time bands (07:00–10:00 and 18:00–21:00) operate normally; passengers flying through Cagliari in the early afternoon should allow extra time and check their flight status before heading to the airport.
