Norway: SAS Link cabin crew strike from Wednesday 28 October 2026 (Fellesforbundet members rejected the mediator's proposal)
In 4 daysLast Updated:
Cabin crew of SAS Link in Norway, organised by Fellesforbundet, go on strike from Wednesday morning, 28 October 2026. In a ballot that closed on 23 October — turnout above 80% — the members unanimously rejected the proposal the National Mediator had put forward on 11 October, which the employers' association NHO Luftfart had accepted. The notice covers the 24 cabin crew members on the SAS Link Norway agreement.
What to expect: SAS flights operated by SAS Link's regional jets to and from Norway may be cancelled or delayed from 28 October; SAS has not yet published which flights are affected. Flights operated by SAS's own crews and by other airlines are not part of this dispute. Check your booking with SAS before travelling.
Why: the union wants pay to consist mainly of fixed salary rather than variable supplements — "people must be able to know what they will be paid when the month ends" — and wants to keep the guarantee of two free weekends a month, which the mediator's proposal would have dropped. Talks on the agreement broke down on 10 September; the union also wants to narrow the pay gap between SAS Link and SAS's own cabin crew. An earlier strike threat for 11 October was called off when mediation produced the proposal that the members have now rejected.
