Spain: Nationwide strike in early childhood education (0–3) on 7 May

Comisiones Obreras has called a national strike across the 0–3 early childhood education stage in public and private nurseries on 7 May 2026, demanding lower class ratios, infrastructure improvements and higher pay. CGT has also indicated it will call action in the stage, and a large demonstration in Madrid is planned later in May.
