Segovia: Avanza urban bus partial strikes on 13 days from 27 October to 27 November 2026 (CCOO, UGT, SLT)

The staff of Avanza, the operator of Segovia's urban buses, have called partial stoppages on 13 days between Tuesday 27 October and Friday 27 November 2026, called by CCOO, UGT and SLT after talks on the provincial collective agreement for urban passenger transport stalled.

Strike days and hours (two bands each day):

• 27 October 08:00–11:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 29 October 06:00–09:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 30 October 08:00–12:00 and 18:00–21:00
• 3 November 06:00–09:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 4 November 08:00–11:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 6 November 13:00–16:00 and 18:00–21:00 · 9 November 06:00–09:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 13 November 08:00–11:30 and 18:00–21:00 · 17 November 06:00–09:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 19 November 08:00–11:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 23 November 06:00–09:30 and 13:00–16:00 · 26 November 12:00–15:30 and 18:00–21:00 · 27 November 08:00–11:30 and 18:00–21:00

What to expect: Segovia city council has set minimum services to protect trips to hospitals, schools and workplaces. During the stoppage bands four lines keep their normal timetable, the main lines run with fewer buses at roughly 30–45-minute intervals, and a few lines may be interrupted altogether on some days; the links to the Guiomar AVE station are among the services affected.
