Unions FNV Zorg & Welzijn, CNV, and FBZ have suspended the planned nationwide 24-hour strike by youth care workers scheduled for Monday, 2 March 2026 in Utrecht, after employers presented a new collective agreement offer. The unions will ballot members through 18 March; the earlier ultimatum remains in force. No new strike date has been announced.
